In preparation for Valentine’s Day coming up this Saturday, today’s Pop Liz Clink recipe is more desert than cocktail. It’s a super simple and super decadent Strawberry Champagne Float. You may be thinking “What?! Champagne and Ice Cream?! That’s weird.” But trust me, have no fear! I promise it’s delicious. It’s what I’m planning to make for my husband after we get home from our dinner date, and I’m pretty sure he’s going to love it.
If you don’t have a husband or boyfriend to surprise, this is also the perfect girls night treat. 😉
All you need are three ingredients – prosecco, strawberries, and vanilla ice cream.
First, cut the strawberries into tiny pieces.
Next, layer your strawberries and vanilla ice cream into an irish coffee mug. Of course, any type of glass will do if you don’t own these.
Now, pop the champagne!
Finally, pour your prosecco over the strawberries and ice cream.
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Cut strawberries (or any fruit of your choosing) into tiny pieces.
- Alternate layering ice cream and strawberries into glass.
- Pour prosecco on top.
